In the workplace, social responsibility can take many forms. Corporate social responsibility can include initiatives brought on by executives so that the whole company joins in. These initiatives can contain philanthropy, volunteer efforts, and sustainability programs that not only benefit society—but also the company’s brand.
Sustainability is meeting “the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.” We want to make sure that we leave this place better than we found it so that future generations can also enjoy the resources that came before them.
Sustainability includes practicing better use of our natural resources, but also relates to economic health. Our natural resources aren’t infinite, and coming up with sustainability initiatives allows us to have a positive impact on the world around us and the future generations to come.
At HealthCase, we are all about teamwork. Our team is very focused on sustainability and our impact on the world. Our very own Sustainability Club gets employees involved and gives them a chance to care for people within our local communities.
